CWIN started in April 2009, which is supported by GGF (Global Greengrants Fund), Marisla Foundation
and GAIA(Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives). It aims to promote a nationwide working
network specialized in waste issue, with members consists of native and foreign experts, media, NGOs,
public, government, and individuals concerning environment.
We try our best to draw the public’s attention to environmental health and waste incineration, and
advocate the “Zero Waste” production and life style. What’s more, we aim at enhancing the public
and NGOs’ correct cognition on waste and environmental health, so as to realize the local environmental
security and to accelerate the process of “Zero Waste” in China.
Water Project started in July 2010 and focuses on water problems in South Anhui as well as their
effects on the society and the public health. The program emphasizes public participation and draws
public’s attention to water problems nearby by awaking their awareness of environmental protection
and legal rights, developing their abilities on protecting water environment. At the same time, this project
aims at promote cleaner production in South Anhui.
